Nate Bargatze was born and raised in Old Hickory, a small town located outside of Nashville, Tennessee. Old Hickory is a suburban community that is part of the Metropolitan Nashville area. It has a population of around 25,000 people and is known for its historical landmarks and beautiful scenery. The town is named after former U.S. President Andrew Jackson, who was nicknamed "Old Hickory" due to his tough and resilient character. Bargatze often references his upbringing in Old Hickory in his stand-up comedy, as well as his Southern roots and family traditions.
